- Check Your Device First
Sometimes you just think that you have lost all your contacts but in real they aren’t even gone and saved on your device therefore, it’s better to check your device first. In this case, when your contacts get hidden you can carefully check your device to see these contacts agains. Below are the steps to check your Android device:
- Go to Contacts App
- Tap on the menu (Three Vertical Dots)
- Contacts to Display
- Select “All Contacts” if it isn’t already.
If you are getting your contacts back by doing this, it means that all your contacts were saved but hidden and still if you haven’t got your contacts back then you may follow some other steps mentioning below.
- Connect Your Phone to Computer
First you need to install the program on your computer then run it, now use a USB cable to connect your smartphone with computer. Now open the option “USB Dubbing” on your device.
If your Android device is supporting a system of 4.2.2 or above then soon a pop up window will be appearing on your device. Keep a check on your smartphone and tap “Allow” and press ok button to proceed the process on computer then you will be able to see an interface similar to the picture below
Keep in mind that if your phone is not rooted, the program would not be able to get the access to the internal memory and your contacts will not be found. Also, it will leave you with an interface in the program like this:
- Scan the Contacts Deleted From Your Android
Now, this program will enable your phone to display its data in the interface. So, when you enable the USB dubbing on the device just wait for a while and all your lost and existing contacts will be shown in the program.
- Selectively Retrieve Your Android Contacts
Click the “Contacts” button in order to preview each telephone number and contact name, address, email address and contact information. Now, click on the button recover to your desired contacts and export them to your computer.
How to Restore Android Contacts With Gmail?
If you have sync your Android with Google account then you can easily get your Android restore contacts from Gmail account but it will only date up to 30 days back. So, if you have completed this process you can resync your device with Gmail account and can get all of your contacts back with you.
Step 1. Login to Google Account
First you need to login and open your Google account then go to inbox, select contact from the list as shown in the picture.
Step 2. Restore Contacts
Now, you will be able to see a list of contacts all you need is just click at “More” and restore your contacts. After this, you will see a interface like this.
